Don Wilson received his Bachelors degree from Michigan State University and began his career as an elementary school teacher. While teaching, he attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and completed his Masters degree in Counseling and he became a counselor and Jr. High basketball coach at the Dupo IL School District. Then at the recommendation of a few close friends in the business, he made the transition to the insurance business. Don grew up in Belleville and developed good relationships with people in the community over the years. These became working relationships and helped Don grow his insurance business to one of the top 100 agencies in the country with Farmers Insurance. Don started an independent agency in order to give his clients more choices to meet their insurance needs. Wilson Insurance Group now represents more than a dozen companies in order to compare the companies for you and find the best company for your needs.

In 2004, Jacqueline Wilson, completed her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and worked over the next ten years as a mental health therapist and eventually, the Clinical Director at an outpatient community mental health agency. After having her first child, she then made the transition into her career as the second generation agent in our family’s O’Fallon, Illinois agency.
